However, when a larger current range or wider cable is needed, the WEM3046T is available as an alternative. Customers have the flexibility to choose different CT ratings based on their specific requirements, as long as the CT has a 5A output.
The WEM3046T possesses all the critical features outlined for the WEM3080T
WEM3046T supports a 5A output current transformer (CT), such as those with ratios of 1000:5, 1500:5, 2500:5, and so on. These CTs can be connected directly to the WEM3046T without the need for additional equipment or adapters.
Please note: Unlike the WEM3080T, the package of WEM3046T does not include a current transformer. Customers are required to connect their own CT (with a ratio of xxx:5A) to the WEM3046T.

WEM3046TE: The Best Option for Double CT Installation
If there are no spare CTs available, and the primary CT, which is connected to the utility company's energy meter, cannot be utilized by the WEM3046T, then the WEM3046TE emerges as the preferable choice. It extends the 5A CT of the WEM3046T externally and converts it to a split-core design, allowing easy clamping onto the wire of the primary CT. This configuration is commonly referred to as a double CT installation.
The WEM3046TE comes with three 5A, 10mm split-core CTs (current transformers).
